Considering how different things are here, that isn't that surprising to me. People have already told me my world's different enough compared to theirs.
There's a saying that people have about the City- it's easier to die there than to make a living. It's definitely not what you would call perfect or ideal.

We have electricity and plumbing, those aren't new to me. Learning about everything from the future is interesting, once you get used to it.

They came to me and said they were a client, looking for me to do a job. I get a lot of those.

It varies, but most of the time, no. Any thief can be called for a job. I'm just a professional.
