I am being truthful. [He's perfectly content eating whatever fungus or shrub he finds outside most of the time. It's efficient, and being able to digest anything while on missions is the whole point of the ability. Occasionally he takes some canned food if he needs to supplement.]
I could limit myself, but then rest of you would have less rations. Vriska and Hibari would complain.

It must get tiring.

I didn't use to be 'agreeable', but my society is much more communal than yours.
Also, you overestimate me. These are small concessions.
I make them for the good of our unit, which comes back to me in the end.
We have to work together, wether we like it or not.

Something like that. My race conscripts its children around nine.
I was ensign on a trans-dimensional diplomatic ship as my first assignment.
When that ended, I was left on Earth. I have been on many 'teams' since, yes.
It has not always worked out.
