[ Noh-Varr doesn't respond to Garrus' attempts at conversation, taking the offered time to pull out his blackglass. He brings up three messages: the first, from day 57, is from Ino Yamanaka, and starts, 'So when are you going to take Garrus out on a date, huh?' He lets Garrus read for a bit, before taking the device back and navigating to different conversation, on Day 59, from Adrien, that starts 'If the scars on his face don't bother you; tell him.' And continues: 'He has a great deal of regard for you. I just wanted to be certain it wasn't misplaced.'
The third is from earlier that day. From Warriorhead. In the middle of an unrelated conversation: 'Is there a particular reason that Garrus Vakarian is asking if I'm likely to kill him?'
When Garrus is done, he pulls back the blackglass, his expression having changed from cool to frosty. He'd started out calm, but having read those messages, his annoyance is back in force. He'd told Ino he didn't like messy. He didn't expect messy to strike from so close. ]
You told me you wanted things to be casual. But apparently, there's plenty you aren't telling me.
