[It's not working and he knows it, but he has to try. Laying here is frustrating, especially when there's not only work to do, but he's coming to dread the panic that insists on waking him up.]

If these don't help, can I please get an assignment? I'm asking nice and everything.
[ All his life, to be exact. He’d given Alina this same advice when she told him she wanted to lead the Second Army, despite never having held a command. It had seemed to help her. He doesn’t know if it will help Noh-Varr too, but he hopes so. ]

You’re welcome. If it helps, I’m glad. But you are good at what you do. You’re always calm, always competent. You may not have held command before, but there’s some things you can only learn by doing.

They wouldn’t have asked you to do it if they didn’t think you could. For what it’s worth, I think they’re right.
Thank you for your help during the transportation of the suits. You have my gratitude, as well, for saving my life. I admit it would have been a rather embarrassing way to go.
[ If this display has hurt him in some way, if it leaves discomfort in its wake, Warriorhead provides no sign. He returns to his state of unnatural stillness, mere inches from his recruit. ]
You didn't want me to be so aware of you. I'm complying.
[ He needs to parse this, to make sense of it. He could ask, of course, and he would probably get an answer, but then he wouldn't be living up to himself. The first option is that Warriorhead's 'head', or at least what Noh-Varr sees of it, is a redundant organ, and punching through it would be a bit like Noh-Varr punching through his hand: painful, but easily ignored. Option two is that the armor does not, in fact, contain Warriorhead's body. He has no reason to believe this is true besides what he's just witnessed, and so he files it away. The third is that Warriorhead's skill and power is so unfettered that he can overcome self-inflicted brain damage without a second thought. Looking likely. ]
Did you just cause damage to your own neural functionality? For me?
[ To the tone of: 'please don't do that again'. He's obviously a bit baffled, still. Warriorhead has become 'less aware'. How? ]
We're pretty casual, turians. Sometimes we're not, obviously. I've got married parents. But with all the unknowns here, something serious isn't on my list of things I want.

But I'd like to see the view from your bed, and share the one from mine.
